About Iron League

Robot Battles 3.0: Iron League proudly introduces Sri Lanka’s first-ever football-based robotic competition, organized by Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka. This season, the traditional battle arena evolves into the Iron League Robo Football Arena, where intelligent machines compete in a high-energy robotic football experience.

In Iron League, robots are more than battle machines — they become football players engineered for speed, precision, control, and strategy. Teams must design and build robots capable of navigating the arena, controlling the ball, defending goals, and executing tactical gameplay against opponents in real time.

The Iron League concept combines robotics engineering, innovation, teamwork, and competitive sports into one futuristic arena. With fast-paced action and strategic gameplay, Iron League redefines conventional robot competitions and introduces a new era of robotic sports entertainment in Sri Lanka.
